How do I get the SDP Toolkit, HDF-EOS, MTD Toolkit and other tools?The SDP Toolkit, HDF-EOS and related TOOLS are available via anonymous ftp from edhs1.gsfc.nasa.gov.
Because this software was developed under a NASA contract and was intended for the use of EOS Instrument Teams and science investigators, access to download was password protected. However, recently the password requirement was removed making it easier to download. You should be able to download Toolkit, HDF-EOS2, HDF-EOS5, HEG, and all related software and tools from relevant directories in
SCF Toolkit/HDF-EOS Download Site.
Though not necessary at this time you may receive the password by sending an email to landover_PGSTLKIT@raytheon.com
What should I download?
For the latest and previous releases please refer to the corresponding release notes to see what is needed to be downloaded. For TOOLKIT and HDF-EOS follow the directions in the Toolkit Users Guide (chapter 5) to install Toolkit and related software. For other tools the installation instructions can be found in their Users Guides, or README files provided with the tools.
